| 1 | Set Up Cutting Machine | Place the heat transfer film/vinyl onto the cutting mat or machine feeder. Adjust the pressure and cutting speed according to your machine's specifications for HTV. |
| 2 | Prepare Your Design | On your computer, select the image you want to print. IMPORTANT: Select MIRROR IMAGE (flip horizontally) before sending to the cutter. |
| 3 | Cut the Design | Click the engraving/cutting button to begin. Let the machine cut your pattern. |
| 4 | Weed the Design | Carefully remove the carved pattern from the film sheet. Use a weeding tool to tear off the parts you don't need (the excess vinyl). Only your design should remain on the carrier sheet. Your picture is now ready for use. |
| 5 | Position on Garment | Place the carved pattern onto your garment with the carrier sheet facing UP. Ensure proper placement before applying heat. |
| 6 | Apply Heat | Use a heat transfer machine (or home iron) at temperature of 150°C – 190°C (300°F – 375°F) for 8 – 15 seconds. Apply firm, even pressure. |
| 7 | Peel (Hot Peel) | Immediately after pressing, peel off the transparent protective film/carrier sheet while still hot/warm. The image has now been transferred to your garment. |

2. What temperature should I use for pressing?
Most HTV works best at 300–320°F (150–160°C) with medium to firm pressure for 10–15 seconds. Always check your vinyl brand instructions.
3. Will the vinyl peel after washing?
When pressed correctly, HTV bonds strongly to cotton and holds up very well through regular washing.
4. Can I use a home iron instead of a heat press?
Yes, but a heat press provides more even pressure and better long-term results.
5. Do your cotton products shrink?
