What fabrics can I use HTV on?
HTV works best on cotton, polyester, and cotton/poly blends — t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags and more. Avoid nylon and coated or water-repellent fabrics, as the vinyl won't bond properly.
What temperature and time should I press at?
Most of our HTV presses at 302–320°F (150–160°C) with medium pressure for 10–15 seconds. Check the product page for exact settings for specialty vinyl like 3D Puff.
Will the vinyl peel after washing?
Not when it's pressed correctly — our HTV bonds firmly and holds up through 25–50+ washes. For best results, wash garments inside out in cold water and tumble dry on low.
What surfaces does adhesive vinyl stick to?
Any smooth, hard surface — cups, tumblers, mugs, car windows, laptops, walls, and wood signs. For the strongest bond, wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol first and let it dry before applying. Adhesive vinyl isn't for fabric — use HTV for clothing.
Is adhesive vinyl waterproof and outdoor-friendly?
Yes — our permanent adhesive vinyl is water-resistant and made to last outdoors on cars, windows, and signage. Let it cure for 24–48 hours after applying before washing it or exposing it to rain. .
